In this podcast, we discuss Hal Hartley's movie, Simple Men (1992) and try to understand the larger themes we think are being presented in this Odyssean tale, such as the transcendence of character and the transformation of gender dynamics. Ultimately, we are sure we have only just scratched the surface and look forward to future revelations when we re-visit the film again.
